The Artist

Christa-Ann Davis Molloy has been living on St. Croix for 28 years. She was born in Trinidad. She loved art since in her childhood and now has an opportunity to paint as an adult. As Christa –Ann paints she goes to a “different place- a relaxing place.” Paintings are in watercolor, oil, acrylic and ink.

Experience/Education

  • Organized an Art Showcase at the John H. Woodson Junior High School in 2011 and the students presented 83 pieces in the Art and Music Showcase.
  • Completed ten months of watercolor and oil painting instruction with a professional artist Betsy Campen
  • Completed session of Oil painting with Marcia Jameson
  • Exhibited over 150 pieces of work

Purpose

Every piece I paint should tell a story to someone. I want my art to create words.
